A Unit Application is used to request assignment to a specific position within a unit. It includes personal details, experience, and the desired role. Unit leaders review the application and select candidates based on their qualifications.

The Personnel Action Request (PAR) form is an official document used within the unit to facilitate and document requests for changes in personnel assignments, roles, and training. This form allows members to submit formal requests for position transfers, role changes (including infantry, weapons, and aviation), as well as any specific training they wish to undertake.

The form includes several sections to clearly outline the individual’s current role, desired changes, and the rationale behind these requests. It is designed to ensure that requests are organized, reviewed, and processed efficiently by the leadership team. The PAR form helps in maintaining the right balance of personnel across different roles within the unit, ensuring that each member is placed in positions that best suit their skills and operational needs.
